Carol Bradley (Associate Fellow RVC)
External Consultant - Credentialled Australasian Infection Prevention & Control Practitioner
Carol served the University of Melbourne's Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Hospital for 39 years.
Beginning her career as a veterinary nurse in the hospital's surgical ward, Carol went on to become the Clinical Head of the Central Sterilising Services Department (CSSD) whilst concurrently supervising the operating theatres.
After 28 years, Carol advanced to the level of tutor and academic lecturer in small animal surgery. Both roles saw her deliver formal lectures and instruction to veterinary students.
In 2020, Carol completed a PostGradCert in Infection Prevention and Control at Griffith University to add to her qualifications in sterilising technique, veterinary nursing, education, and clinical surgical practice.
Now retired from the University, Carol’s goal is to raise awareness of infection prevention in veterinary healthcare to support our patients, our clients, and the veterinary healthcare brand.
Carol is currently a consultant, auditor and educator.
